These lessons are to help you teach your child proper grammar. They are meant to be used in conjuncture with the Writing Lessons. While the writing lessons focus on phonetic concepts or spelling words, these grammar lessons focus on the other rules and principles of writing.
The method I feel is most effective for learning Lang. Arts (or anything) is having a lot of practice and spiraling repetition. So I endorse introducing a concept, then revisiting it the next day, next week or next year. You will see this play out in the lessons below. Unfortunately, I cannot predict how an individual child will respond to the lessons, so they may progress faster (or slower) than the pace I laid out. Feel free to modify what you find for your personal use. Just be aware that since they sync with the writing lessons, if you get them out of alignment, you may run across issues later.
As a disclaimer, while I have tried to do my homework and researched this subject to death, I am NOT an English Major, an Early Education Major or otherwise professionally qualified for the task of telling you how to teach your child such an important skill as learning to write properly. So, since these lessons are free, you may find that you get what you paid for. (Hopefully they are actually good enough to be worth more than that, but I can't be sure).
