I won't reiterate why I think Family Movie Night is important since I did so for the previous set of movies, but I will say that if you have a child that falls within the 1st-3rd grade range, this is where you will find a list of the best movies for them. These movie are either very popular, culturally relevant, or important to film history. All movies are highly rated at IMDb (over 6.1) and Rotten Tomatoes (fresh). The movies here are considered by Common Sense Media as appropriate for a child aged 7-9. I'd also recommend glancing at the previous list (Lots of Disney!) too, as those movies are also appropriate.
If you click on the picture, it will take you to the movie's IMDb site, and the title will send you to Amazon, in case you want to rent or buy it. The movies are in order (very roughly) of age appropriateness (so those for 9-yr olds would be found at the bottom of the list).
Finally, I realize that every child is different and as such, parental discretion is strongly advised!

Turtles Forever
This 2009 movie is a riot if someone is familiar with the various different incarnations (80s cartoon, 90s movies, etc.) of the turtles. |
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
There are many great animated superhero movies out there. If you child is interested, check out this list (but be warned that not everything listed is appropriate for young children). |

If you are comfortable with your children watching movies rated for a higher age bracket, then try the next set of movies for the later elementary age range.
