Additional ideas for learning the vocabulary and phonetic concept:
- Give the child the words: Cat, Rat, Hat, or Pan. Have the child draw these items.
- Print out images of: Map, Bag, Pan, Ham, Rat (or find others). Print out the words, cut them out and match the word to the picture (or play Memory with your child).
- Again, print out images of several of the words. Then take the the letters and print them out separately. Have the child put the letters together to form the word that matches the picture.
