I've decided to add coloring pages to the preschool animals page. Or rather, links to appropriate coloring pages. I like the idea of doing a ton of great art with my future children, but in reality, I probably won't have the energy or desire to deal with the mess, so there will probably be more drawing and coloring than anything else. I might as well have some sort of purpose to the coloring, and matching them up with the animal of the day sounds pretty reasonable. |
My husband says I need to put something in this blog to make people want to read it. He suggested lists (I do like lists) or trivia...but I don't think there will ever be something that interesting that I could write to attract visitors. Maybe an on-going story! LOL.
As a side note, I've added "Indian Nation: Cherokee People" to my early elem. history plan (which isn't up on this site and I don't know if it ever will be since it's a combination of several for-sale programs at the moment). I was listening to "The Last Unicorn" song by K. Loggins and was feeling nostalgic and was trying to think of some oldies and found that one. It's a song that has historical significance! Not too many of those. So I decided that if I have kids, that will be perfect to listen to about the time they study the Trail of Tears and other conflicts between the US gov. and the native peoples.
